Well, today is the day most people start their New Years Resolutions and start looking forward. Me, I like to look back before looking forward so today lets pull out some of those First Crafting items you ever purchased.
Use your first stamp, collage image, the first technique you mastered. Anything that made you fall in love with creating your art.
I can't wait to see what you create with those "firsts"!

I have used one of the first stamps I ever purchased a butterfly set by Hero Arts, the image I pulled out of a magazine when I started to get into using collage images and the woman with the children at the bottom are from my first ever Taro card pack. The background that does not show up very well is one of the first techniques I learned, chalking.

Oh nice one. I Love what you did with this one its fabulous. Love the tarot cut outs too. The first thing i ever tried was an atc so will be back with one later.

Here's my entry. The lotus the first hand-drawn image and I've used it many times in all sizes. I used in my collages. Everything on this page is recycled from another piece of art except the central face. happy New Year!
